HEARTPRINTS COUNSELING LLC offers counseling services designed to support teens, young adults, and families through a variety of challenges and life experiences. Explore the specialties below to learn more about each service.
Teen counseling provides a supportive, collaborative space for adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Therapy focuses on understanding what is getting in the way and developing practical skills for coping, communication, and meaningful change.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, non-drug therapy approach that can help people process traumatic memories, loss, and other distressing experiences. EMDR may help reduce the emotional intensity associated with trauma, anxiety, depression, panic, and other difficult experiences.
Family counseling helps family members work through conflict, improve communication, and strengthen connection. Goals are identified together, with each family member given an opportunity to participate. Caregiver support is also available to help adults better understand and respond to a teenager experiencing mental health challenges.
